Terms and Conditions of booking - Junior groups

  1. When a client books with MM Race Team, the client will be sent a final confirmation email 6 weeks before the week is due to start. Final confirmation emails include a payment link for the booking. Lessons must be paid for in full at least four weeks before they are due to start.

  2. Bookings made within 4 weeks of the date they are due to start must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

  3. No refunds will be given for changes or cancellations to a booking within four weeks of the start date of the lessons.

  4. No refund will be given to clients who fail to attend their lessons.

  5. We cannot be held responsible for conditions out of our control such as bad weather or piste/lift closure. Refunds will not be given in the case of accidents, illness or cancellation. We will, however, be happy to write a letter to your insurance company for any of the afore-mentioned cases or if the lesson is cancelled due to injury.

  6. Race groups will only be run once a minimum 4 kids have booked into the group. If there are 3 kids or less in the group, the relevant private lesson rate will be applied, shared equally between the number in the group. If kids only attend a couple of sessions instead of the planned 5, the rate remains the same.

  7. Please note that instructors may sometimes need to switch kids into more suitable groups for their level during the week. In this situation, the school reserves the right for kids groups to be run with a maximum 7 kids so as to ensure that levels are properly balanced within and between the groups.

  8. It is compulsory that all children under the age of 16 wear helmets. We also strongly recommend that kids wear back protectors and don't wear chin guards in GS racing or training.

  9. Although every effort will be made by the office to keep clients well-informed, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they know the meeting point and time of the lesson and to make themselves known to the instructors.

The overall daily rate will remain the same for the duration of the course/camp regardless of the amount of people who attend on a specific day.

  5. It is obligatory to wear a helmet during training and racing. Race specific protection such as slalom guards, back protector, padded suits and catsuits may be worn but are not obligatory.

When booking a residential course, the price shown is based on the room being filled with the correct amount of people. i.e. a double room will need to be occupied by two people, a triple room by three people, in order to be able to guarantee the advertised price of the residential course/camp. In cases where a room is not filled, a supplement will be charged to the occupant(s).

  7. The advertised price of a residential course may change if the numbers on the course as a whole are not sufficient for the accommodatio supplier to apply its package discount. If the price is likely to change, students will be informed and have the opportunity to cancel the accommodation part of the course.

  8. Although every effort will be made by the office to keep clients well-informed, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they know the meeting point and time of the lesson and to make themselves known to the instructors.
